J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan Production at the Scala Theatre, London 1958
Collecting Collectables has for sale this a rare and collectable theatre programme for the 1958 production of Peter Pan starring English actress Margaret Lockwood in the lead role of Peter Pan, and also featured Margaret Lockwood’s 17 year old daughter, Julia Lockwood, as Wendy Moira Angela Darling
The four page theatre programme is in Very Good condition with annotation to the top edge of the front cover in a neat hand.
Sadly, the Scala Theatre no longer exists, it was demolished after a fire in 1969.
The first theatre on the site opened in 1772; with the theatre from 1865-
This is a lovely collectable Peter Pan programme from 1958, and a very poignant reminder of a historic theatre that sadly no longer exists.
