Peter Pan by Sir J.M. Barrie Pictorial Souvenir Theatre Programme 1958
Collecting Collectables has for sale this rare and collectable Peter Pan souvenir which details the productions of Peter Pan since 1904 upto 1957, with pictures of the performers in costumes and other details.
The front cover is in gilt with a wonderful white illustration from the J.M. Barrie book, Peter Pan. To the reverse of the front cover is a large head and shoulders photograph of the author, J.M. Barrie; and to the back cover is a wonderful aerial photograph of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, to which J.M. Barrie gave all his author royalties for the play.
This rare and collectable souvenir is in Very Good condition with annotation to the top of the programme dated 1958; a small stain to the left margin of the front cover near the bottom corner; and other age toning and other very minor signs of wear.
This is a very attractive theatre programme and an excellent record of the productions in London of the wonderful children’s play, Peter Pan.
