magazine for April 28th, 1951 which features Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell to the
front cover in a scene from the new (and one of his most famous) Bob Hope movie,
The Lemon Drop Kid, which was released in the US on April 2nd, 1951 -
Bob Hope, one of the twentieth century’s great comedic actors and entertainers who was born in Eltham, London, England on May 29th, 1903, and died at the age of 100 in 2003, is best remembered as a partner of Bing Crosby in the ‘Road To’ series of films. Bob Hope is awarded with 3 Stars on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California, USA for Motion Pictures (located at 6541 Hollywood Boulevard); Radio (6141 located at 6541 Hollywood Boulevard); Television (located at 6758 Hollywood Boulevard); and a Special Plaque for Live Theatre with his wife Dolores (located at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard)
