from December 31st, 1949, which has a large photograph to the front cover of Bob
Hope and Rhonda Fleming in a scene from The Great Lover, which was released in the
US on 23rd November 1949 -
Bob Hope, one of the twentieth century’s great comedic actors and entertainers who was born in Eltham, London, England on May 29th, 1903, and died at the age of 100 in 2003, is best remembered as a partner of Bing Crosby in the ‘Road To’ series of films. Bob Hope is awarded with 3 Stars on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California, USA for Motion Pictures (located at 6541 Hollywood Boulevard); Radio (6141 located at 6541 Hollywood Boulevard); Television (located at 6758 Hollywood Boulevard); and a Special Plaque for Live Theatre with his wife Dolores (located at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard)
