Collecting Collectables has for sale this very rare and collectable theatre programme for the 1939 production of the Oscar Wilde play The Importance of Being Ernest. This programme has been autographed on their one page photographs by: John Gielgud, Peggy Ashcroft (feint but legible), Jack Hawkins (feint but legible). Attached to the cast page is the ticket stub for the performance.
This is a very rare and attractive signed theatre programme with annotation to the front cover; slight brown rust mark to the edge of the front cover; and with the staples rusted over age causing the pages to become loose.
This is a very rare and attractive early signed programme from the 1930s, that will be a magnificent addition to any theatre programme collection.
